The BarGrip XL system is a cold swaged steel sleeve that is field installed in situ with overlapping bites using Barsplice portable presses. Cold swaging is one of the most refined splicing methods worldwide. Key to its success is simplicity, adaptability, and affordability.

Applications include new construction, field repair, retrofit and seismic design.

BPI swaging equipment is easy to use and may be leased or purchased. There are 4 different press models available to best fit your rebar size.
