The Taper Threaded Grip-Twist is a shop-swaged splicing and anchorage system that incorporates self-locating taper threaded ends for rapid field assembly with no torque requirement. The male and female taper threaded coupler components maintain the full cross-sectional area of the reinforcing bar for improved performance.

The coupler threads are produced in Barsplice’s facility with proprietary equipment. This not only eliminates threading the rebar in your shop, it ensures you receive the highest quality threads for a full performance threaded system.

For applications where the bar cannot be rotated (i.e. hooked bars), the Grip-Twist Position coupler can be used. The Positional Stud is rotated to engage into the Female Grip-Twist coupler.
